Frobenius Algebras and Classical Proof Nets

Abstract

We develop a theory of proof nets for classical propositional logic for which the usual axiom links are replaced by maps in the free Frobenius category on one object generator. We give correctness criteria for two versions of the sequent calculus and we discuss the issue of cut elimination.
