Heterogeneous Reactive Systems Modeling and Correct-by-Construction Deployment

Abstract

We propose a mathematical framework to deal with the composition of heterogeneous reactive systems. Our theory allows to establish theorems, from which design techniques can be derived. We illustrate this by two cases: the deployment of synchronous designs over architectures, and the deployment of synchronous designs over the so-called Loosely Time-Triggered Architectures. This report is an extended version of a paper with same title that appeared in the Proc. of EMSOFT'2003. This report appeared also as a technical report from the University of California at Berkeley, number UCB/ERL M03/23.
