Influence of an Interface Condition and Exact Linearization in the Newton Iterations for Two-Phase Flow in Heterogeneous Porous Media

Abstract

Block heterogeneities have an important influence on macroscale multiphase fluid flow and transport in porous media. We focus especially on the interface between different materials and linearization schemes in order to improve the efficiency of the numerical simulator.
