Résumé

We aim to reduce the virtual reality (VR) sickness by superimposing discreet auxiliary figures: “gazing point” on the center of the user’s field of view, “dots” on the four corners of the field of view, “user’s horizontal line” links a line to the user’s head movement, and “real world’s horizontal line” links to the real-world horizontal line. We conducted an experiment to evaluate the degree to which these figures could reduce VR sickness in a VR environ-ment on a head-mounted display (HMD) by using Simulator Sickness Ques-tionnaire (SSQ) and skin conductance (SC) on the user’s palm. The results show that the VR sickness tended to reduce by the superimposition of “dots.”
