Security Management of Cloud-Native Applications

Résumé

Cloud computing is transforming our way of designing and implementing elaborated infrastructures and services based on multiple computing resources (storage, networking, virtual machines, applications) that are accessed through the Internet. These resources are delivered as services at a large scale, in a commitment- free and on-demand manner. The development of high-speed broadband access has largely contributed to its emergence. In addition, the growing interest and support of companies and organizations has been motivated by the scalability, interoperability and flexibility properties that enable cloud computing with respect to these resources. Cloud computing offers a sufficiently high abstraction level for enabling users to dynamically build added-value solutions based on these services, opening the door to cloud-native applications. The objective of this work is to propose, implement and evaluate a strategy for supporting the security of such applications.
