Performance assessments of absorbing conditions for the reverse time-harmonic migration

Abstract

We propose an imaging technique based on the solution of harmonic wave equations. Its principle is inspired by the Reverse Time Migration which is widely used for seismic imaging. The numerical method involves Radiation Boundary Conditions and we assess the impact of these conditions on the capability of the imaging method to recover an obstacle hidden inside a fluid.
