Event Based Modeling for Context-Reactive Information Systems
Résumé
Mobility of users accessing ubiquitous information systems (ISs) induces new requirements that constitute new challenges. IS should be now particularly adaptive and contextaware by managing and responding properly to occurring events. This proposal tries to reduce the gap between both research areas: context reasoning and event processing. It studies the relation between context and events and proposes a metamodel for coupling context information and event metadata. The metamodel supports a distributed approach imposed by the ubiquity nature of the system that is implemented through an Event Driven Architecture, maximizing security and communication issues between distributed components.
