A domain decomposition method for solving flow in stochastic Discrete Fracture Networks (DFN) on non conforming mesh
Résumé
Non conforming mesh in DFN yields easier mesh adaptivity which is useful as flow is mostly localized. The matrix shape of the linear system encourages the use of DD Methods. We use the BDD Mortar method proposed in ıt (Pencheva and Yotov, 2003), ıt (Poirriez, 2011). The coarse level is defined following ıt (Tang et al., 2009). Balancing is implemented as a preconditioning matrix ıt (Erhel and Guyomarc'h, 2000). The algorithm is implemented in the parallel software SIDNUR ıt (Poirriez, 2011). We present the decomposition of the linear system in local matrices and apply the BDD Mortar method to networks satisfying some hypotheses on the mesh.
