Abstract

Since the introduction of Electrical/Electronic systems in the automotive domain more and more functionalities have been integrated into them and their complexity grows rapidly. Additionally, to be competitive and to be able to address several market segments, those systems have to be realized in many different variants. Developing software separately for each product variants is nowadays unbearable and the requirement for having an approach that incorporates variability within the modelling process becomes more and more urgent. In the paper we show the EAST approach for supporting development of software product lines
