Abstract

Virtual enterprise organization regroups partners distributed in space, time and organization, in order to achieve a common goal. Thus, their business process realization needs the coordination of distributed partners interactions. This paper presents the "synchronization point" concept, which provides support for the cooperative process coordination. It provides partners pertinent information about their work progress while maintaining the privacy of information. Moreover, it supports both the long-time transactions and the dynamic process definition as requested for cooperative process management. Finally, the prototype and its compliance to current Web Services standards is rapidly described.
