Flexibility Versus Performances

Abstract

The objective of this article is to present a new general method to introduce and to use flexibility and to conserve performances of computed schedules. First of all, an observation of current research will be held in order to show the insufficiency of some current research about flexibility. Then, we will present our general idea, method and the expected results. Then finally, we present an implementation of our idea for a one machine scheduling problem. It is implemented around Genetic Algorithm.
