Coordination is crucial to support Virtual Teams. We argue that a coarse grained definition of tasks coupled with a pertinent awareness system based on divergence metrics can improve coordination by generating auto-coordination among members of the virtual team. We describe in this paper this idea and how divergence metrics can be calculated and presented to end-user.
