DNA Storage: Synthesis and Sequencing Semiconductor Technologies

Abstract

Storing data on DNA molecules is an alternative to traditional storage media by promoting density and longevity. This paper gives an overview of how data is stored on DNA and how the reading and writing processes (sequencing and synthesis) are currently implemented on semiconductor devices.
