Entropy as a measure of variability and stemness in single-cell transcriptomics

Abstract

We propose in the present paper a simple typology that should help non-specialists readersto better grasp the relevance of the term "entropy" for the analysis of single cell transcriptomics data, and differentiate its various occurences.
