An elliptic blending differential flux model for natural, mixed and forced convection

Abstract

Several modifications are introduced to the Elliptic Blending Differential Flux Model proposed by Shin et al. (2008). The suggested formulation is applicable to the three flow regimes; forced, mixed and natural convection. Very encouraging results are obtained for two channel flows in forced and mixed convection and for a cavity flow in the natural convection regime.
