Singular Perturbation Control for coordination of converters in a Fuel Cell System

Abstract

In this paper, the converters coordination problem of a fuel cell system involving a hydrogen fuel cell (FC) with supercapacitors (SCs) for applications with high instantaneous dynamic power is considered. A singular perturbation approach is used to solve the control problem under unknown variable load, where the convergence of the voltage controller is analyzed by using Lyapunov theory. Simulation results show the performances of the proposed approach against a significant FC-SCs benchmark.
