CGAL : The Computational Geometry Algorithms Library
Résumé
CGAL, The Computational Geometry Algorithms Library, provides easy access to efficient and reliable geometric algorithms in the form of a C++ library. It is is used both in academia and industry, in various areas needing geometric computation, such as geographic information systems, computer aided design, molecular biology, medical imaging, computer graphics, and robotics.
The CGAL Project is a joint effort of several research groups in academia and their industrial partner GeometryFactory. It started in 1996 as a consortium of seven academic sites in Europe and Israel. In 2003, it has become an Open Source project, inviting developers from around the world to join.
