This special issue of the Electronic Journal of Digital Enterprise (e-JDE), on Information Systems and Economic Intelligence field, focuses to develop the dialogue between experts and researchers from public and private, to acquire basic and experimental on Information Systems and Competitive Intelligence (or economic intelligence in French terminology). This promotes, in a risk environment, technologies related to economic intelligence (EI). The dynamic of EI depends on the control of knowledge and requires competences to design the best strategies and ensure that decision-makers take the right decisions. In this orientation on decision making, the information system is specifically developed as: accessible, appropriate decision making, and suitable for intelligent data representations, through its specialized tools. The purpose of such system is to attend the decision-maker to control his company with the right indicators by quantified data, pertinent information by good interpretations and strategic actions by the adjusted choices to the knowledge and the know-how in business.
