Résumé

Our work has always assumed that the revolution of computer graphics and moving images resides in instrumental communication via the gestural channel. In the computer context, this instrumental situation requires to develop physical object simulations. The operator interacts in real time gesturally, acoustically and virtually with the simulated object. The design of the Instrumental Communication Interface falls within the general framework of the improvement of man-machine interaction in all applications where the computer and the operator collaborate closely to manage successfully a complex task.
