Diagnosis with Dynamic MSC Languages
Abstract
In this work we study the diagnosis problem for dynamic MSCs, a scenario language describing interactions of arbitrary numbers of processes. The diagnosis problem consist in finding explanations for a partial observation of a running system out of a model. We first show that diagnosis can be brought back to decidability of an MSO formula, and is hence decidable for dynamic MSCs.
