Task-oriented 3D reconstruction: relevance, actuality and perspectives

Résumé

This paper deals with fast acquisition techniques of existing sites 3-D models that are well suited to diverse industrial applications: robotics, product design, maintenance, civil engineering, ... Beyond a simple geometry reconstruction, criteria such as structuration or semantic contents must also be fulfilled to meet the requirements of a given task. They allow for instance to affect relevant behaviours to the model objects. To integrate this knowledge on the task to be achieved, a human operator must participate to the modelling process. Interactivity constraints must be identified to specify a new task-oriented 3-D modelling tool from images, presently being developed in our team. || Nous nous intéressons aux techniques pour obtenir rapidement un modèle 3D d'un environnement existant, adapté à la réalisation d'une tâche donnée, dans un domaine d'application industriel: robotique, conception de produits, maintenance, génie civil, etc.
