SugarCubes Implementation of Causality
Résumé
Causality problems appear in synchronous formalisms basically when one emits an absent signal. Several strategies have been developed to reject programs with causality problems. Strategies based on potential functions are studied, and several formal semantics using these functions are defined for a fragment of the synchronous language Esterel. Implementation in Java of these strategies is also presented. This implementation is based on SugarCubes which is a set of Java classes for reactive programming.
