[HAL Good Practices] How to highlight publications on a specific theme.

vignette-widget.png

Wether you need it for a conference, an ANR project or a multi-partner project, you can display a precise list of publications updated in real time on your website or on the inria.hal.science platform.

To highlight publications around a theme, an ANR project or a team, several solutions are possible.

1. The "Haltools" predefined query: Inria has developed a tool that allows you to define a query according to one or more search criteria and to integrate the resulting url within an html "iframe" tag. This url is a query that is launched each time the page is loaded, so the results are always up to date with the latest submissions on inria.hal.science.

Example: the MIND team's publications list appear on the team's website. This is in fact a request in an iframe. If you wish to obtain the same kind of result, all you need is to go to Haltools.

2. The collection: on the platform HAL, it is possible to create a collection according to criteria of one or several fields and to "stamp" the publications answering these criteria. The stamping can be retroactive and it can be manual or automatic. It is a powerful tool that can be used for large projects or conferences.

Example: the PRAIRIE-IA project
