We call this convergence Edgelet computing and show that it can drastically change the way distributed processing over personal data is conceived. We demonstrate the pertinence of the approach through a real medical use-case deployed in the field. %G English %2 https://inria.hal.science/hal-03925679v2/document %2 https://inria.hal.science/hal-03925679v2/file/PERCOM23_Vfinal.pdf %L hal-03925679 %U https://inria.hal.science/hal-03925679
