Rechability-based control of batch crystallization processes
Résumé
In the paper we investigate the control problem of crystallization processes governed by hyperbolic partial differential equations. Given a desired crystal size distribution, we study first its reachability by the temperature control from the initial condition without seeding. If the desired crystal size distribution is reachable, we are able to construct an admissible control steering the states to the desired distribution. To ensure that the desired distribution be reached, we propose an output feedback control law to correct the errors resulted from uncertain model parameters. An observer is also provided to estimate the state variable used in the feedback control.
