              <p>The SIGGRAPH 2012 will be again an opportunity for many researchers to present their innovative work in Computer Grahics. Today, we look into one of them, entitled "Surface Flows for Image-Based Shading Design". It introduces an alternative method to 3D rendering based on 2D deformations. The authors of the publication have answered our questions and discussed the principle of this method, its advantages and limitations, but also to its applications, since implementations in the form of plugins Photoshop / After Effects / Nuke are being prepared or available.</p>

              <p>Comme pour les éditions précédentes, le SIGGRAPH 2012 sera l'occasion pour de nombreux chercheurs de présenter leurs travaux innovants dans le domaine de l'imagerie. Nous vous proposons aujourd'hui de plonger dans l'un d'entre eux, intitulé Surface Flows for Image-Based Shading Design. Il propose une méthode alternative au rendu 3D à base de déformations 2D ; vous trouverez ci-dessous la vidéo de présentation de cette publication. Les auteurs de la publication ont répondu à nos questions et reviennent sur le principe de cette méthode, ses avantages et limitations, mais aussi sur ses applications concrètes, puisque des déclinaisons sous forme de plugins Photoshop/After Effects/Nuke sont en préparation ou à disposition.</p>
