CORDIS ANIMA a physical model language for music synthesis, animated image synthesis and other applications
Résumé
In 1979, ACROE introduced the principle of physical modeling in the field of music synthesis and animated image, and designed the first version of the CORDIS ANIMA system. CORDIS ANIMA is a language for the modeling and simulation of objects of the physical world. It assumes that a given physical object can be constructed by assembling two types of modules : punctual masses and interactions elements (linear visco-elastic elements and non-linear elements). In the same time, these modules are elementary algorithms of simulation.
